| The picture above is from a class
that Chaplain Tim Thompson attended recently at Camp Parks. As you may know
Chaplain Tim last December was ordered from active reserve status to the
U.S. Army Inactive Reserve. However, he could not stay out for long as he
joined the California State Military Reserve which allows him to continue
to counsel soldiers going and coming home from a combat zone. In order to
be part of the State Military Reserve (SMR) he had to attend a new orientation
class. Which is what he attended and the picture above is the classmates
that went through it with him. Chaplain Thompson is on the back row the
farthest on the left.
